Before you start filling out the application form, please read carefully the submission guidelines and instructions on how to apply, as listed below.
Competition eligibility
Your application will be taken into consideration if you fulfil the following criteria:
- study film directing, cinematography, sound design, editing or film production
- have taken part in production of at least one documentary film
- speak English fluently
- complete and submit the online application form
- upload a documentary film (provided that you participated in its production) on some of the online services (YouTube, Vimeo) and place the link in your online application form along with the password.
Obligations of organiser and participants
The organiser provides:
- board (breakfast and lunch) and lodging for participants
- film production equipment
- transport Belgrade – Požega – Belgrade
Participants pay for:
- transport (a return ticket from participant’s home country to Belgrade)
- international travel health insurance including COVID-19 medical coverage (only for participants from abroad)
- getting a visa (if necessary to enter Serbia)
- additional costs in the hotel / hostel
The film you are applying with
The film you are applying with must be:
- a creative short documentary
- lasting up to 30 minutes
- subtitled in English
Please upload your film to one of the online services (YouTube, Vimeo), and enter the link to the film and password (if applicable) in the online application form.
Your film must be available on the submission link – by 25 July 2022.
Submission
Both submission and participation at the camp is free of charge.

The deadline for submission is: 10 May 2022
Selection of candidates
After the application deadline, our selection committee will consider all received applications and select the candidates.
Shortlisted candidates can be invited to an individual online interview with members of the selection committee.
The candidates chosen to take part in this year’s Interaction: SFC will be informed by e-mail no later than 15 May 2022.
